Baguette | there is no D in my name | TRAITORclaw | Queenie of Narnia A break from the spell practice was a relief. Maybe it shouldn't have been, considering practice was meant to help, and Lydia clearly needed all the help she could get with her spellwork. The top hat was currently sporting a single reddish-brown rabbit ear, and outside of that still very much looked like a regular top hat. But it was nice to take a break from failing over and over again.
Bonding with a transfigured animal? Hmm... "I think it would be harder," she said, raising her hand. "And I mean, I guess its behavior would depend on how good your magic is when you transfigured it. But it'll still disappear - or I guess, revert back? Because magic wears off most of the time eventually, unless it's super strong, right? So it's not like a real real animal, so I think bonding would be more difficult." If that made any sense. It was weird looking at the ones that had successfully used the spell and thinking about how those rabbits were originally top hats. They were just as cute as a real rabbit though.
