He was mildly surprised to see the girl select another hat when she’d already successfully transformed a cute little brown bunny… until she placed it on her head. Ohh… No, he didn’t mind the students wearing hats, as long as there were enough to use for the actual transfiguration process.

He considered her question for a second. He’d initially planned to wait until the end of class to make this announcement, but he supposed there was no harm in doing it early. Revealing the rabbits’ fate wouldn’t give away the rest of the lesson itself. “They’ll go to an area of the school where they’ll be cared for, and you can visit any time you like,” he replied with a slight smile. Exactly where that was would remain a mystery for now!

Did everybody else hear that? If not, he could always repeat it later.
