He kicked haphazardly at the grass, considering how it seemed like only yesterday that he was swinging on swings with Bella. Yet it was more like ten years ago?
That was when he took notice of his housemate... who was looking around for something? Someone? "Karleigh? Everything okay?" He could only imagine how she was feeling with it being her final year, when he was already feeling some sort of way with it being his sixth year. Maybe it was too cold to practice outside, though the movement would likely keep her pretty warm. Though it was just as likely that Karleigh was doing a little procrastinating. It wasn't that she didn't love to dance or want to get into WADA, but thinking about her audition was really beginning to make her feel anxious. What if she didn't get it? What then? She wasn't sure what else she would be qualified for and then thinking about that made her remember that she also really needed to be studying for NEWTs. Ugh. Seventh year was overwhelming.
But one thing at a time, and perhaps a little dance practice would clear her mind a little. As long as she did not stress about her audition. Karleigh paused to set her things down, just in time to hear a voice, causing her to turn. "Oh, hi, Apollo," she said, giving him a little smile. "Yes, I suppose so. I'm just.. I guess I'm just thinking about the future." And it was just a little stressful.
