So far it was the typical afternoon stroll. Nothing really going on, not very many people outside at the moment. It was nice. Peaceful. But what was that?! Something was running her way an-
Was that?!
Blink. Blink. BLINK.
When did Hogwarts get an alpaca?!
Keigh stood there and stared. It was like the Entrance Hall all over again with the bubbles, steam, flowers, butterflies, disappearing acts and wombat. Why it even surprised her, she didn't know but it did. For several seconds all she could do was watch the alpaca run around.
Now her cat, Kanga on the other hand had something entirely different on her mind. She darted off after the alpaca as if she wanted to play?! What in the name of Merlin was she doing?!
"Kanga! Come back!" Keighley didn't know what else to do but run after her cat and the alpaca.
The alpaca was clearly having the best time as he frolicked about, running this way and then that and then the other again. Human Evan would probably be exhausted later, but the animal version felt like he had an overabundance of energy. A cat soon joined him, and thankfully there was enough of a human portion of his thought process left to remind him that a cat was NOT a threat, so instead of any change in emotions, the alpaca just continued to hum happily and quickened his erratic run.
It was only when the sound of
another human reached his ears, and he came to a screeching halt as a woolly had swiveled to find the source. Oh look, Keighley! He wasn't alert enough to remember all the details currently about who she was, but he knew enough to know that he DID know her in human form, and like the cat, she was NOT a threat. But she did seem to be trying to catch the other creature, so he continued to pause, foot stamping a bit at the interruption in his run.
At least, he was minorly annoyed, until he realized where he was standing and lowered his head to graze. Mmm, grass.
