The fourth year turned her attention onto her older brother as she was escorted towards Greenhouse three. With a warm Keighley smile on her face, she slipped past Jude into the Greenhouse, waiting for him to lead the way. This was his tour so she would allow him the pleasure of showing her all around. They had always had one another's back and this was just another thing they did for each other, this was Jude's moment. He was older and allowed inside here so, this was all him.
Taking up stance right beside him, she turned her blue eyes onto the tree they had come in here to see. "Look how big they are." Obviously because TREES! But still. It was really cool to see Gravity-resistant trees inside the Greenhouse and such large healthy ones too!
Even Jude was wondering the same, Keigh. Perhaps later he would check in with DeVries to find out if any conclusion had been drawn about the ‘presents’. Not to mention he was highly suspicious of that book and doubly annoyed with Peeves who was being even more of a nuisance this year. All of this couldn’t be just his imagination, right?
The sixth year would have been quite happy to let his sister roam the Greenhouse as her heart pleased {naturally, he’d be very close by in case he was needed}, but he could tell from her mannerisms that she wanted him to take the lead. This was fine with him. But at present, he was too busy staring at the Trees. See, he always found them quite fascinating. “They’re quite huge,’’ came his agreement. “One of the first places they’re known to have been grown is Nepal. Fun fact, Keigh: the roots pull water from the air around them!” There were quite a bit more facts he could share but now Jude was busy adjusting the wreath of flowers on his head since he felt it slipping backwards as he had titled his face upwards to see the trees better. |
