She had become accustomed to the loud music party vibes since having immersed herself in that world all summer, but even Kinsays needed a break sometimes. It was just. She was just. It was exhausting.

"Yeah... It's always nice to step away sometimes. It was really crowded in there so..."

This was ... painful. Hopefully Cailyn didn't feel as awkward as Kinsay did about it though.

The feeling that the other girl wasn’t being entirely truthful hadn’t left Cailyn at all, but she also was holding back on challenging Kinsay as to her answers. Sometimes it was just easier to let people decide whether or not they wanted to open up, after all. There was only so much she could do to convince them to do so, and she was actively pursuing this decision at the current time. Plus, she understood if the Gryffindor felt like it would have been easier to open up to anyone else. Maybe. She thought so, anyhow.

“It really is”, she agreed, giving her another smile. “Hogwarts parties always seem to end up rather crowded”. Just an observation, but one that she regularly felt kept her finding escapes every so often. In case Kinsay thought she had a problem with the party environment.

She didn’t, but it was oh so easy to feel like she could get overrun as petite as she was. Let alone the bookworm part of her that came out occasionally.
