Karleigh really had no idea what Atlas had been working on when she interrupted him, though that really didn't matter. She couldn't have helped her sudden outburst of surprise when she had stumbled upon him and certainly didn't mean any harm. But whatever he had been working on apparently had been pretty important. And it seemed as though her sudden interruption had caused something to go wrong with his work. Exactly what, she couldn't tell. But what she could tell was how upset Atlas currently was.
"I-I'm sorry," she stammered out an apology, taken aback by the tone he used with her. The seventeen year old was not used to anyone speaking so harshly to her, especially when it had been an accident. Her pleasant expression had crumpled completely, upset that she had made someone angry but also upset that someone would talk to her meanly. "I didn't mean to... Can I help you fix it?" She wasn't even sure what it was or what had broken or that he'd even want her help.. but before she could say anything else, she felt herself lifting up in the air. What was happening??
Karleigh did not exactly have a fear of heights, but now that she was suddenly levitating, she did not exactly like this feeling. Widening her eyes, she looked at Atlas again, thinking this was something he'd done, not seeing anyone else. "What did you do?" Was this manifestation of his anger, to turn this sort of magic on her? He had to have known that it had been an accident and she did not deserve any sort of retaliation! "Put me down right now!"
