"I don't even remember that chapter. I really try to remember it all," Mercer croaked out, miserable, as he adjusted the crown on his head. There was so much new information to learn all the time, he sometimes felt like the words were pushing out old learning. He wouldn't be surprised if he had a ring of childhood memories around his collar after every study session.
"Curse of the wicked seasonal allergies, seems like," Mercer fished for a second handkerchief, but he was fresh out. He offered his sleeve, in case she needed another wiper. "Pretty impressive magic, though."
