What was most intriguing in this scenario was that Yumeki was not doing either. He was sitting straight up on a bench in the courtyard and writing down something in a journal. His calligraphy looked like awful chicken scratch, but there was no need for anyone like his great-grandmother to look over his shoulder making sure each stroke of the quill was perfect.
His tired eyes glanced up and saw Remy sit down with her cat. He had seen that cat around the common room, but never approached it. Yumeki liked cats, more so than dogs. Dogs, he did NOT like. He shut his journal and looked toward Remy. "I like your cat." He spoke up, to draw attention toward himself.
Remy had reached into her soft rucksack with teddy bear ears at this point to retrieve a scarf. She felt the cold so terribly fast, and she definitely was not a lover of winter which was fast approaching. The only good reason for it being that Halloween and Christmas were around the corner.
WHO was that? Grr.
“
He will bite you,” Remy informed the unlucky person to have approached her. Perhaps that was why she didn’t take Binx out onto the grounds too often, in fears that he would abandon her to live in the Forbidden Forest where he belonged.
Eventually looking up to see who it was, Remy’s expression softened. “
Hi, Yumeki. I was only joking, Binx would never bite anyone unless I asked him to.” Maybe not quite ASKED him to… because cats couldn’t understand English, but she was sure he could read her body language. In all seriousness, Binx did not belong in the Forbidden Forest.
