Wrapping her cloak tightly around her, Rory walked to the water's edge and looked across the lake. The trees were reflected in the water in the distance and she could see leaves flying down, some spiraling before they hit the ground. Trying to catch one off-handedly, she reached out her arm and hopped once, careful not to tread water. However, her efforts were in vain. The leaf fell into the water and floated away. Sighing, Rory bent down in a squat, her eyes boring into the somewhat clear water.
Today was a nice day for a walk. Pleasant climate and everything. Plus, after all the chaos in settling down and adjusting to this new world, it was these walks across picturesque Hogwarts locations that kept her sane.
