HE WAS BACK! And this year he hadn’t ran up to the headmaster table and asked for his friend to be swapped into Gryffindor so that was something. Sitting at the table, his fingers tapping rather out of sync, Hooper watched the sorting without actually paying attention as to who was being sorted into what house. His mind was too preoccupied with thoughts of his cosy bed up in the Gryffindor tower and the early morning that he was getting tomorrow. Shocked as his dorm mates would be at this news, it wasn’t exactly a surprise when he considered the summer he’d had. Early mornings at the beach and lots of time spend with his best friend Parker had been the best thing about his summer so the fact that he’d invertedly formed a stupid routine that focused on waking up early wasn’t surprising. Annoying because he usually hated mornings but not surprising. Briefly, Hooper cast a glance over at his best friend along with a smirk before he eventually turned his attention back to the sorting.
With the smallest of claps that came slightly too late, Hooper turned his attention back to the tapping of his fingers on the table.
