Signing up for the Gobstones summer camp seemed like a no brainer at the time, as it was a game he had played many times a child and what a good way to make new friends. But upon his arrival, he was feeling a pit of regret in his stomach. Of course, his mum had forced him to go through with it, despite his incessant moaning about the fact that it would probably be full of tiny kids, which he was NOT anymore.
After she had signed him in, goodbyes to his mother were short and sulky (mostly because otherwise he would be fighting back tears) and with his rucksack packed with a hearty packed lunch, Solomon carried on through to the building without looking back.
He chose to busy himself at the Mini Billiards activity, rather than skip round the room with the other tiny kid that was here.
