Then Violet heard someone offering to be her partner, thanks the stars! "Yes, absolutely I would!" she replied. Lisa was a Ravenclaw, so she could probably be trusted to be competent, and as far as Violet knew, Lisa had no problems with her (unlike some other classmates), so this was probably a safe partnership. She cleared a space on the table next to her for Lisa to put her cauldron and, being the seventh year, felt obliged to volunteer to go first. "I'll go first, if you like--but please go get the Professor if this stuff doesn't wear off!" And with that, Violet began pouring a dose of the potion into a small beaker. She really hoped she was not going to regret this.
Lisa would have been secretly chuffed to have known that Violet viewed her as
probably competent. Certainly a good thing to be in an older year’s mind.
She nodded in response to Violet when she said that she would go first. “
Alright… Uhh cheers?” she offered, waiting for her partner to drink the potion. She was curious to see the results of the potion.
