Finn watched distractedly as the other boy wandered away, then returned his attention to the book--now in his hands, instead of on his head--and Mitsuki.

He frowned at her, tapping his knuckles gently on the cover of the book. "Conductive? Like electricity?" Was she trying to make him a lightning rod? Because that wasn't how people treated their friends, at least not where he came from. "Why do you want me to be conductive?" Another why question, but they were going to continue coming until he really, truly understood what she was talking about. And she really was probably going to have to explain it to him like he was a toddler. |
