Gion was born (25 May 2070) in Winnipeg, Manitoba of Canada as a love child to Illvermorny alumni Mya Ingebretson and Harley Manning. His parents never married and separated after two years following Gion's birth, where he was raised by his mother. After graduating from Illvermorny Gion was recruited as a Keeper for the professional Quidditch team after playing for five years on his school quidditch team. A bad head injury led to some side effects that turned him off the sport for good and a personality change that led to his decision-making. After moving across the country near distant relatives Gion set on to take on his second choice in sport, Gobstones. Near a decade of playing he became the new Scout seeking new talent in the next generation as his own son begins compulsory education.
