Sterling was born on a cold February day in Liverpool, England to John and Keeva Calrissian. Life was pretty normal for the young witch, spending the days being doted on by her parents, playing with her friends, all the normal kid things. Until one day, her father got an urgent phone call from the States. Turns out, his mother’s health had taken a turn for the worse. It was decided that John and his small family would be the ones to return to his hometown of Fayetteville, Arkansas to help care for her. Sterling was five at the time, so not only did she have to face starting school, she had to do it in a strange town. But the young witch adapted as well as she could, though she had a hard time fitting due to, among other things, her ‘fancy accent’. She was never happier than when she received her letter to Illvermorny. Eagerly, she packed her bags for the Northern school, regretting only that she had to return to Arkansas every summer.

Until the summer between her fourth and fifth years, that was. Her mother and father sat her down and explained that, while they still loved her very much, they weren’t able to make their marriage work anymore. They divorced, with Keeva moving back to Liverpool with Sterling. The young witch was sad to leave her friends at Illvermorny but was also excited to be back in England among what she calls ‘her people’.

After the move back to Liverpool, Sterling took to Hogwarts like a fish to water. So much so that she even became a Hufflepuff prefect in her final year. She also joined the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and was recruited by the Appleby Arrows, also in her final year. She joined the team right after graduation and has been a part of it ever since. In her personal life, she embarked on a two-year relationship with auror Ronan Carter, which resulted in the birth of their daughter MaKayla. Due to some miscommunication and hurt feelings, however, she tried to hide MaKayla from the auror, but he eventually found out and now the two parents split custody of their daughter.
