Bram has a great sense of humor and loves to have fun. But he also has a serious side. You wouldn't know it by looking at him, but he does have issues with depression, especially after the untimely death of his father. He is a great kid with a good heart and is a great friend and listener. He will happily be your shoulder to cry on and the first one to make you laugh when you are down. He does have a short temper but it is hard to get him angry. He can be slightly stubborn and sarcastic. But he is always respectful to his elders.

FAMILY HISTORY/BACKGROUND

Bram's entire family, as far back as they can go, is entirely Scottish. Maybe a few Brits and Irish sprinkled in here and there, but predominantly Scottish. His mom, Isla, is half-blood and his dad, Alasdair, is muggle born. His father was a potions master; he created new potions and improved old ones. He unfortunately passed away this summer when a potions experiment exploded.

Before that Bram was homeschooled by his very talented mother. Isla didn't feel that Hogwarts was safe, after seeing so many terrible things happen there in the past several years, so she decided to take on her children's education instead. She has done a fantastic job, but after her husbands death, she needed to get a job to make ends meet. Now Bram is going to be starting his 5th year, and first year, at Hogwarts. His mother made sure he was well socialized. They live in a Wizarding village within Edinburgh where several other wizarding children were being homeschooled as well.

His younger sister, Mairi, who is just 8 years old will still be homeschooled by some of the other Wizarding families until she is old enough to go to Hogwarts. Bram's maternal Grandparents, Brody and Fiona, are still alive and well, and help out with Mairi while Bram is at Hogwarts and Isla is working. His paternal grandparents, Fergus and Mairi, passed when Bram was a small child.

Bram is going through a lot of changes right now and isn't his best self. His temper comes out easily over silly things. He isn't sure how to express what he is feeling with such a major loss and now not being home with his family all the time. Normally, he is very outgoing with very happy-go-lucky optimistic attitude. Lately, he's been keeping to himself and very brooding. Honestly, he just needs a friend to lean on that will be there for him.
