 Which came first, the phoenix or the flame?
"Hi Professor." Holden was in for a fun surprise today, AKA Ashley was in a cheerful mood. Okay moods? Those were common enough. But she was actively feeling great today. She greeted the classroom with a smile, sitting by Mitsuki and nodding at Evan, Cailyn, and Jude.
She looked over the room and the crossword. Then she did a total of five things: 1. she arranged her things on her desk neatly, 2. she noted that the professor had several boxes on his desk, 3. she translated the latin on the board- it took her a minute, being rusty, 4. she noted that the crossword was related to goblins and money, and 5. she got distracted and started drawing on her paper. Sorry, Holden, the drawings were of flowers and completely unrelated to the lesson. But she stopped every so often to work on the crossword... she was trying, promise. She was just so peaceful and felt that her work absolutely needed flowers on it. Right now. |
