'Hi!' Maria heard the greeting, but didn't look up from her book right away. What if a professor had found her out here, would they send an owl to her dad? Would she get dragged in to get sorted? Nervously Maria looked up from the page she was reading to see a girl. Heaving a sigh of relief that it wasn't a professor, at least not yet Maria plastered on a cherry, but welcoming smile in greeting back to the other girl. "Hi! Are you new too?" Please say yes then she'd have someone to share her sorting worries with. Glancing down at the book and then up again Maria said thoughtfully "I've only read a few pages of the book yet, but it seems promising. All the other Martin Miggs books i've read have been awesome." Only now realizing that the other girl wore blueish house robes Maria added an introduction. "I'm Maria, by the way."
