Perhaps it was the eerily chillness of the previous term, but Leanne found herself on the returning side of things. Although she was a bit disappointed to learn of Cyril's retirement. She would certainly miss his kind and grandfather-like disposition. Instead of her blue robes, Leanne opted for a red dress complete with a black pea coat, figuring it prudent to pay tribute to her new position.
She did find her gaze drifting over to the Gryffindor Table to ensure they weren't being too rambunctious. One feeling that hadn't escaped her was the fact that she was teaching the kids of people who attended Hogwarts with own kid. And she was also now colleagues with yet another who was her daughter's age. Merlin, she was old enough to be her colleague's mother?? Weird.
Leanne snorted when she heard Kamran's remark about a peaceful year. "Please don't joke when we get to eating. I fear i might spew potatoes at some poor unsuspecting student."
She then turned to her new neighbor. "So Adom, welcome. You attended Hogwarts as a student, yes? How's it feel to be back?"
