If there was one thing Vera had not been expecting about how she'd feel on the first train ride to Hogwarts, it was this intense amount of SAD. Was she excited? Absolutely. BUT now loaded onto the train it occurred to her how much she was going to miss Papa and Scoot. She wouldn't get to see them for MONTHS. And while she did have Vasco, which was a comfort as much as she'd never tell him that there was another big part of her that was missing.
PAPA WOULDN'T LET HER BRING HER SNAKE.
She had begged and PLEADED to be able to send a letter to Headmaster Kazmi asking to bring her pet with her, but Papa had said she was too young for the responsibility and that maybe she could ASK when she was older. Not even that she could do it, just that she could ask!!! She certainly hoped there were some type of reptiles she could cuddle with at Hogwarts, preferably a basilisk though she was pretty sure there was only like it's skeleton or something now.
Such a shame.
Heaving a loud SIGH, she looked out the window and thunked her forehead against the glass. She'd just sit here and pout.
Until she inevitably forgot why she was.
