So at the first sign of anybody else she knew, or well, anybody who didn't completely hate her, she decided she'd just sit there. No use wandering about the train the whole time, as given her luck she'd end up in a carriage alone.
Her luck wasn't all bad, because she found fellow fifth year, fellow O.W.L.-sufferer, and generally kind person Karleigh almost straight away. Poking her head in and smiling hopefully, Margaret greeted the other girl. "Hello! Do you want some company?" Although...was that a pygmy puff on the seat? She supposed technically Karleigh already had some company. Karleigh had grown a little lost in thought as she looked out the window, so much so that she didn't realize anyone else was there until she heard a voice. Turning suddenly, she soon gave her yearmate a friendly smile. "Hi, Margaret," she greeted her cheerfully. "Oh, of course. Please have a seat." She really did welcome the company, though she was a little surprised that Margaret wanted to sit with her. She hadn't really thought the Hufflepuff liked her all that much. But she would be friendly either way. "Excited to be going home? I bet you have some exciting plans." She didn't really know, of course, but she could easily make that assumption.
