Dear Albert Magnus, he better not be loosing his hearing. Usually it was pretty good (when he wasn't asleep). Not as good as his sense of smell, but it was still pretty good.

He was still 'looking' around the room when he heard Kendra give him in the all clear. He held out his hands. He nearly dropped it, not expecting it to be so heavy and then heft it onto his shoulder. A moment later a strange sound filled his senses. He blinked, gave his head a shake and then cleared his throat. "Right - off now. Let me know if you need anyzzingk ---- else." He got distracted by the sound again. Maybe they were wrong about that conch, he thought as he marched out with the trident over his shoulder.
