The surviving followers spread throughout the globe including the Americas infiltrating the MACUSA. Ilvermorny experienced multiple lockdowns due to sightings and No-majs being attacked. No-maj students were offered a place of sanction in Ilvermorny while their parents went into hiding, including children from Salem Academy of Magic. They resided in the dungeons where Professors would continue teaching them. Text Cut: 2103-2104 Term Though there are rumors of the anti-muggle sentiments and Neo-Alliance uprising from Europe and the UK, their influence has not yet widely reached the US, even though some no-maj discrimination is becoming more emboldened. Students at Ilvermorny may have some trouble contacting friends or pen-pals they may have at Hogwarts or other European schools. Hogwarts communication is impossible and other magical schools throughout Europe may have mail screened which might delay communication. Since the term started, Ilvermorny has been experiencing strange, localized earthquakes. While they only last moments, some of them have been known to open up small rifts in the grounds.
