"Oh, that's okay," Karleigh replied, waving off the fact that she had been a little startled. It really was okay, but it was also a little embarrassing to get startled without a good reason anyway, so she tried to act casual about it.
Karleigh considered Jude's words and shrugged a little as she nodded. "Yeah, probably," she agreed. She wasn't too nervous, certainly not like some of her classmates but also not as lax as some others had been most of the year either. Those ones really had something to worry about at this point of the year. But also, Jude couldn't really know till next year what it was really like.
The Gryffindor nodded in agreement, also thinking it was beneficial to have cousins to study with sometimes. "Jane and Henry have their OWLs too, but Darren has NEWTs, so we all need to study for some big exams." And it only made sense that they have a regular session. She was about to add more when the fourth year sprung a question on her. "Oh.. um, when they're in their human form or in their wolf form?" Because they were different answers. But she started with one side, undeterred: "Human-like eyes and pupils, size of snout, and... tufted tail." That was an easy one.
