Ash listened blurrily to what Kazmi was talking about, if it was even possible to listen blurrily. She struggled to process the words. It was just. a thing that happened sometimes. She raised her hand after a while and spoke softly. "Who exactly are the experts you're... the experts you're bringing? Who are they? They aren't sent by the board, right?" She didn't hate the board exactly(she didn't hate the energy for that), but she didn't trust them at all. They hadn't done a single good thing that she could remember. And she remembered a lot of things. "How do you know they're the best experts..." and not another 'healer sent to brainwash them into complacence' type of expert? |
