Daniel followed the rest of the students out of the Great Hall while holding on to a book that he had been reading during breakfast. The sight of the Headmaster standing on the stairwell drew his attention, so he moved to side near one of the torches and leaned with his back against the stone wall as he waited for the man to speak further about the castle's situation
