Being careful not to touch anything with her bare hands at first, Kendra got to work casting the usual spells her department normally used when suspicious objects came into their possession. Not that she necessarily thought that the trident or conch shell were suspicious, but they were found under magical circumstances and it was always better to be safe than sorry. And these were not ordinary, every day objects, as they were clearly of the magical world.

She was soon joined by Skye, and Kendra was about to pass the trident over to her to perform the final spells to detect any dark magic as she so far detected no curses, when she looked up suddenly to hear a voice calling out. "Ah, Adam, thank you." She gave the Unspeakable a tight smile as he held up a bottle. She did need that antidote and his arrival was actually pretty good timing. She did need an unspeakable sooner or later.

"She's right," Kendra nodded as Skye warned him against picking up the shell. "We haven't tested that yet to know if there are any curses or otherwise harmful magic. But we're just about done with the trident. If it comes up clean, would you take it down to Mysteries?" Airey could decide what to do with it then.

"If you could give me a hand, Skye.." Kendra began with the dark magic revealing spells to look for anything else.
