Ah, and there was a great answer right here. "Yes, good! Disney is a very popular destination, and for good reason. There's a lot of fun to be had there."

Raising her hand, the Hufflepuff waited to share her thoughts. “A lot of people like to go to the beach.” That was definitely her happy place. The waves. The sand. Just thinking about it made her smile. “If I had to pick a specific place, I would like to visit the beaches in Hawaii.” Yep, and she would get there one day.
"Yes, good! The beach is a favorite for many, especially the beaches in Hawaii." And it was a place she wanted to travel to one day as well, so she could relate.

"A place I've gone to is Simon's Town in South Africa. Penguins make their homes there and have families." If Jasper Botros was here and IF he heard her mushy reply, he WOULD get decked. No questions asked.
"Excellent! Traveling somewhere and witnessing animals out in the wild can be an incredible experience." Especially when they were creatures one didn't commonly see, like penguins. Adorable creatures, they were.

He knew better than to say where he had been or where he might plan to go, but suppose picking a location at random still held a wealth of information he didn't want to release into the wild. There was no supposing; the subconscious was like that, ask any diviner, and also any psychoanalyst. They'd joined Hufflepuffs on the list.

So Milo just stayed silent for a long moment as he overthought and overthought, and the very concept of a relaxing holiday worked him into an inner frenzy, reflected only in the rapid clinking-together of the teeth in his fingers. Eventually, "Lothlórien," slipped from his lips without his so much as looking up again, and though he was content enough that it was (allegedly) a place that (allegedly) did not exist for (alleged) holiday destinations, Milo was mildly unnerved given he had not intended to say anything at all.
Now that was a very unexpected answer - but, to be fair, it still answered the question of where one would want to go. She hadn't specified that it had to be a place located in the real world, after all. "Excellent, yes. It would be incredible to visit a forest as beautiful as that one is described."

Not that she was blocking his view to the front of the class or anything. He leisurely let his gaze drift to Applewood after some seconds. A break from routine? If that routine involved homework, classes and exams, then yes. Jude liked to take the occasional breaks from those.

Where would he like to go someday? EVERYWHERE. That’s where! Jude wanted to travel the world as a pianist doing concerts or a dancer/choreographer. Better yet? He'd like to travel the world while doing ALL of that! Maybe he’d be famous one day and it would happen. A guy could hope and workd towards it.

Jude thought he heard the word Lothlórien from Milo. The Ravenclaw wouldn’t be wrong in the sense that some persons had places in their head they visited mentally when they needed a break. The Hufflepuff raised his hand. “I’d like to see South America someday, Argentina and Uruguay especially.” Because one of his favourite dances - the Argentine Tango - had deep roots in those countries!
"Good, yes! There's a lot of variety to see and experience when visiting another continent, and even in a few countries within it." Another that she too would like to visit one day, though Brazil was one of the ones in particular up at the top of her list.

It was nice to see Ash smiling, which Evan returned when his friend and fellow Ravenclaw entered, finding a seat in front of them. She seemed in a good mood today, and he was glad for it. Another person who got a smile in hello as they entered? Margaret, as she found a seat behind them. He was going to turn to offer a hello, but stopped himself as class was starting.

Hmm.. breaks from routine was it? And travel? Could maybe some type of globe be what was hidden under the tarp? The Ravenclaw raised his hand regarding the question, pushing back thoughts of the mystery again and instead fondly remembering previous vacations. "Korea. My mom's parents live there so we travel as often as we can to go visit. My cousin and I got to go together last summer, just us." A very fond memory, as he never really kept it secret how much Evan admired and looked up to Chase. Maybe even more so than Noah, despite how much he also did love and appreciate his older brother.
"Wonderful, yes! Visiting family is a great way to spend a vacation." Especially when one didn't get to see them often. It made the visits all the more special.

Nevertheless, she spent the next minute listening to what her classmates had to say. "Oh, yeah, I agree with Disney World and beaches," Delilah said, her hand in the air. She'd heard Florida in the United States had both of those, too!

Next vacation destination? FLORIDA!

"I think somewhere cold would be fun, too," she continued. "Maybe...Alaska? Canada? Norway?" The list could go on and on. What if the professor had invented some kind of spell that would take them there today?!
"Excellent, yes! Locations with a colder environment can be just as great an experience as those with warmer ones." Beaches and hotter temperatures were understandably popular, but places with snow could be just as fun.

Rosalie waited a few more seconds, looking about the room to make sure there were no other hands raised or answers being offered, before continuing. "Excellent answers, everyone. With the vast world we live in, there are numerous places to visit and an endless variety of activities to do when we go on holiday. But for today's lesson, we're going to narrow our focus down to one particular topic, one that Miss Bixby touched upon - amusement parks.

"Disney, of course, is perhaps the most well-known and popular thanks to the number of locations it has built throughout the world,"
she continued, slowly pacing the front of the room as she spoke, "but there are many others as well, both large and small. Amusement parks as we know them today are a relatively modern creation, but their development and influences can be traced over the course of hundreds of years, from the earliest traveling fairs in the 1100s to the world's fairs in the 1800s. I won't delve too deeply into all of the history for now; you'll be able to read more about it in the homework later.

"Right now, I want you to think about what goes in to planning and building an amusement park today. Muggles don't wave a wand and make one appear out of nowhere. So what is something that needs to be considered before setting one up?"

OOC: Class will move on in approximately 24 hours.
