Even though the fall and defeat of the Neo-Alliance eliminated the most extreme changes to the curriculum, progress to revert back to include Non-Magique Studies and Non-Magique-born inclusivity has been slow. Clubs and protests for both sides cropped up throughout the year, eventually resulting in the re-incorporation of Non-Magique Studies into the curriculum for the next school term. An accidental fire in the kitchens kept the Culinary Arts students away from cooking much of the term, but they were able to collaborate with the Magical Gardening Club to learn more about creating raw, vegan dishes.

As the new Beauxbatons school term begins, there are several noticeable changes in curriculum and school, and just a general shift in atmosphere. While the Neo-Alliance has their stronghold in the UK, especially at Hogwarts and within the Ministry, its effects and influences, though less overt, are still felt throughout Europe. With a new Board of Governors instated, Beauxbatons now has “Ministry-approved” curriculum, which subtly, and not-so-subtly, includes anti-non-magique sentiment and wizarding supremacy worked into the textbooks and lessons. Ministry-appointed observers regulate lessons to assure compliance and order. There is no longer a need for Non-Magique Studies and the professor who taught that class was unceremoniously let go. Communication in and out of the school is not banned, however it is strictly regulated and inspected, which may cause some delays. But it is all for the greater good!
