Besides, this study session could come in handy for when his time with OWLs came around. Not to mention, he would be able to pass on some knowledge to Rea.

“Hi, professor,’’ Jude gretted, grinning somewhat sheepishly. “My sister isn’t feeling so well so I offered to soak up some potion knowledge then share them with her later.” He tried to sneak a peek of the work Hernandez was grading. What were the chances that same happened to be Jude’s?
Javier smiled at Jude and nodded. "Very admirable of you - come on in and have a seat," he said. Anyone was welcome at this little study sesh! As far as he was concerned there was never a BAD time to learn more about the subjects they were studying, right?

Unless you were having a bad day and you just mentally were NOT there. In which case, he understood.

Seeing a study session listed with Professor Hernandez sounded like too good of an opportunity to also pass up, so he'd made sure to clear his schedule for the time and made his way to the study hall.

Arriving, he was surprised to see Jude, but figured maybe he was just trying to get a jump start on prepping for next term. Which.. come to think of it, perhaps he should have asked Maya along for that reason as well. It never hurt to start early!

Finding himself a seat, he smiled at both before pulling out his study journals. "Hello Professor. Thanks for putting this together." Sincerely. "Hey, Jude. Starting your studying now?" He'd come in too late to hear Reagan was not going to make it.
"Of course Mister Nam. I hope it'll take some of the stress off of you fifth years," Javier explained. That was...sort of a pointed statement. He'd seen how much Evan had been working this year and just wanted him to remember that studying didn't have to take over EVERY moment of his life this term!

While she mostly liked to study on her own, it was nice to trade study habits with others and get help from a teacher. A good teacher. She quietly entered the library and sat down next to the professor. That way she could ask a lot of questions without other people hearing them. What is your favorite potion and Can I apply for extra time and What is your opinion on standardized testing and Would there be stuff on the test they had to study outside of the curriculum and Should I start reading ahead if I know my current material.

Ash had a lot of questions. She didn't voice them quite yet though. She just nodded quietly at the people already there. Evan(her bestie!) and Jude(she didn't know him very well but he seemed alright).
"Hello Miss Fox," Javier greeted her and she joined their little session. He was quite pleased so many people were turning out for this, actually!

So, here she was in hopes of improving that score.

"Hey, professor!" she greeted, plopping down in a seat. Had they started yet?
"Hello Miss Wolff," Javier was also pleased to see another older student come in to the group. NEWTs were just as important - if not more so!

"Alright everyone, so I was going to run this little study session pretty casually. I was going to start off by asking some questions, but if at any time you have a specific question or need help with something you seem stuck on, feel free to ask and we'll all go over that instead. So until someone starts us off, I'll ask you all this question for review...what is the use of the Girding Potion?" he asked.
