Busy, busy, busy. Though it was a different kind of busy than he had known while teaching at Hogwarts. Kamran found he was spending an awful lot of time in that new office of his, and most of that was spent reading or replying to letters, looking through files, drawing up drafts of meeting agendas. A lot of paperwork, essentially, and the occasional meeting with a student or members of staff.

But it seemed counterintuitive to spend his days stuck behind a desk, when the majority of the student population was out and about. Best they see he was around, know that he could round a corner at any moment. Because he liked to be seen accessible, yes, and definitely not as a deterrent to any chaos-making schemes.

So he was making the effort to get out and about, to stretch his legs, head outside for some air while things around the castle seemed suspiciously calm. Kamran was doing the leg-stretching thing now, heading away from the gargoyles and down the corridor, whistling a lively tune as he went, a show tune he didn't realise he knew.
