Well...if Daniel were a basilisk he would be dead right now. Or at least petrified. Atlas wouldn't put it past the Hufflepuff to try a Petrificus Totalus on him sometime. Speaking of basilisks though, it was kind of ironic that Daniel had a mirror though since, you know, you could use that while basilisk hunting. So he had read somewhere or something.
"You're here," he said flatly, not that he was upset to see him (indifferent if anything) and more like he was stating a fact. Daniel was, in fact, present in this Charms practice room. "What are you doing with that mirror?"
