He did have a valid point there. Two months without magic was going to be AWFUL. Her fingers already itched for her wand, and it was only going to get worse with each day that passes. Serena let out a sigh as she brushed her hands over her skirt. "They don't trust us," she enforced. "It's unfair, really. If we were able to practice magic during the summer we'd be a lot more advanced." Imagine that. They'd be powerful wizards by the end of their seventh year.
A lot more advanced... That was exactly what bothered him about the summer holidays and the fact that they couldn't practice magic during that time. He had worked hard on his spellwork for the majority of the year but not being able to practise for two months was going to be a major set back. If only he had planted the Pharaoh's Triumph. Then he would have become more powerful without having to wait for summer holidays to be over.
"Exactly. At least let us use magic in our own houses. My parents are muggles but of course they know about magic so what is the problem?!"
He stood up from his seat as he heard scratching sounds at the door and opened it up to let his black cat inside.
"There you are" he mumbled before he picked her up and sat back down with the cat on his lap.
"Any plans this summer?" He asked without really caring for the answer.
