The actions from the Lair of Despair started a chain reaction. Only one colony may have been summoned, but others had been disturbed. The echoes of flapping wings, clicking noises, and the occasional high pitched screeches filled the alcove. Despite the brightness of the space, a small cluster of bats broke through screeching and flapping around the heads of the small gathering of people that were standing around wondering who was insane enough to open, let alone slip off into the secret passage discovered here.
