"Well. Because they haven't prepared me for life at. ALL," she said dramatically as she crossed her arms and huffed. "I feel as if...as if I don't know anything - not enough about magic - not enough growing up and being an adult - and it's because they don't tell me! Anything! No wonder I am horrible at EVERYTHING." She leaned against one of the walls opposite the owls and looked at her feet, shaking her head and looking generally disappointed. Maybe she had said too much to Daniel, but for whatever reason, it was easier to rant to Daniel Yoon. She wasn't scared of HIS judgment. She was scared of Serena, Ollie, and Lisa's judgments. Maybe Jasper's, too. But Daniel? Nah. She didn't care what he thought half as much.

"Like...you know....I just...I feel like I'm lightyears behind everyone when it comes to magic, intelligence....and growing up. And now I'm seeing my parents didn't even set me UP for doing well." She sighed as she looked out into the trees in the distance.

Her ears perked at the word 'manor' and turned back to look at him. "You live in a mansion?" she asked curiously. Had she ever thought about Daniel's home life before? No. So this was like, new to her.

And he HAD to bring the vines, which she scoffed at. "Very. And they're starting to get more and more....annoying, it seems."
