Flying in reverse what? Bella sat confuzzled as Professor Kazmi explained how to go about flying backwards or as he put it in reverse. She had just gotten confident with flying forwards and steering her broom left and right even at high speeds without crashing, and now he wanted to complicate everything even more. Bella immediately felt unsure and nervous and almost confident that she'd crash.
Firstly she flew a lap around the pitch to calm down and watch how a few of her peers did it. Maybe watching Claudine or Violet or someone fly in reverse around the poles first would show her that it wasn't impossible to perform. After watching her fellow snakettes Bella mustered up some courage since it looked doable and began attempting to fly backwards by steering her broom in the opposite direction while casting quick glances over her right shoulder, as she rounded the first pole at snail speed. Getting a small boost of confidence when it worked Bella tried increasing the speed as she flew backwards around the next pole.
