Kins have never noticed this particular statue before. She didn't have much of a reason for walking down this particular corridor and when she did come by, she was usually with friends and they usually had interesting things to talk about. So her attention was usually elsewhere. But today, she noticed it. Already feeling particularly down, the statue only made her feel even more upset.
So, naturally, she paused in front of it to squint at it properly. So that it knew she was upset with it. Boris was mocking her! And it was making Kinsay James feel all sorts of small and not so great. The statues fault, obviously.
... Is this how people saw her?
