"Enjoy yourself." Damian spoke softly to himself, then repeating it in his head like a mantra. After last years incident, he felt anxious about the possibility of crimson splashed across the field of white. Laurel had just closed her hand’s around a cup of steaming hot pumpkin juice that she was about to raise up to her lips when Damian Pendragon made his presence known in the food area. Gesturing to the chopsticks she shot her mysteries colleague a smile. "Hi Damian, I take it you’re a fan of sushi?" Taking a wonderful hot sip of pumpkin juice that she felt really warmed inside she wondered if she should brave tasting some japanese snacks. Text Cut: Sophie Quote:

She introduced herself to those around the food table (Laurel and Damian) the exact same way she used to back in her Hogwarts years, same intonation, smile and everything. Blessed genes basically kept her face almost as it was back then too, so apparently the only difference now was that she had a wedding ring on. Laurel was just about to put her teeth into a rice treat known as an onigiri according to the plack when a younger woman stole her attention with her forwardness. A new employee the prophecy maven deduced without much effort. Smiling brightly she greeted back. "Why hello Sophie, It’s very nice to meet you. I’m Laurel." Taking a bite of the rice treat, which actually tasted pretty good she gestured with a free hand to them saying to Sophie. "Have you tried onigiri before? The snack is kinda tasty." "What should I start with, it all looks quite fun. Good day everyone, yinz go on the new brooms yet?" Anna tried to decide if she should try the broom or go after some of the food first, she surely would be safer with the food. Sophie headed into the celebration area just on the heels of a woman that was shouting 'Go Ministry!' to nobody in particular. Either the woman was just excited for a fun day or she was one of the people in charge. Not fussed about which the Scandinavian ambassador scanned around, noting that her fellow ambassador Ryden was already in attendance. Of course he’d be, Sophie reminded herself since the QWC was being hosted by Japan this year. Walking up alongside the woman (Anna) that was talking to herself Sophie greeted. "Hi, Miss? I’m Sophie, do you know where it is that you could try your hand at some ancient sports?" Text Cut: Teddy Quote:

Amazing how much work picked up at a broom factory when a quidditch world cup was on the horizon.
And speaking of Aurora, he spotted her across the way. He snagged a couple of hot drinks off the snack table, flashing Sophie a charming smile as he did. ”Hello,” he said in a clear American accent. It was rude to ignore a 'hello' after all. And then he headed off across the way to his girlfriend. He reached her just as she started yelling at someone. It made him smile. ”Always the worrying mother,” he teased as he walked up behind her. He slipped one hand, still holding a cup around her so she could grab it. Aurora stood admiring the moontrimmer brooms on display as Teddy, walked up like an angel with a hot beverage in his hand. Smiling lovingly over her shoulder at her boyfriend she murmured "You can never worry too much. I don’t want my daughters falling off their brooms unexpectedly in the air because the broom isn’t reliable." It had happened to her and had resulted in a broken leg she remembered vividly like it had been just the other day. Accepting the cup of hot beverage, Aurora took a long sip of the fruity tea before she said "Hi Teddy, do you think we can ride tandem on one of these brooms?" It would be fun.[/color] Text Cut: Dylan Quote:

Laurel was munching on a handful of those tasty rice treats wondering where Aaron had gotten to, when another of her fellow unspeakables joined her at the food table. "Hi Dylan," she waved with a smile. "Have you gotten a raffle ticket yet? I don’t know where you can acquire one." And more importantly where you could take a peek at the raffle prizes? She was not in a hurry though since she knew that when her husband got there he’d want to take a test ride on the new broom before he of course dragged her off to the ropes course. But then again, what did she know? She wasn't a broom aficionado. "Any chance there's some winged horses around here?" She said to one of the official looking people who were hopefully in charge of this event. Also, that raffle? She most certainly didn't care about any of the prizes, but would be entering cause hey, it didn't really cost anything and she could always sell the prize, right? Aurora stood reading over the moontrimmer facts when she heard a familiar voice asking about winged horses. Looking up to see who it was, it came as no surprise that the question had been asked by her new employee and old school friend TiaMarie. Before she could answer Tia’s question Jake did it for her. They had no winged horses, at least not at this event. Turning to wave her friend over she smiled. "Hi TiaMarie, you’re still always looking for a horse to ride just like in school?" Aurora remembered some unicorn stories she’d heard about from school that had not exactly pleased the groundskeeper.
