Ash was not so worried about bears and bugs and other dangerous camping things. No, she was worried about other things. "If you're in danger or hurt in a remote area, nobody's coming to help you." Ash was talking about camping. But she was mostly just thinking about The Room. Sleeping on the floor right next to everyone else, with nothing to comfort you and in danger all the time. Camping was like the room but voluntary and with no evil humans(hopefully). She didn't say that, but she thought it.
