The fact that Sir Henry could speak was certainly a surprise to Evan. Actually, that he was surfacing at all was a surprise but he was still especially surprised at the speech. Had he heard someone say before that he could speak? Did anyone else know? When even was the last sighting? He now also had a lot of questions, but given the fact the squid seemed on a mission he was hesitant to take up any more of his time to ask them. Maybe Sir Henry would be willing to have a discussion later, once whatever the message was had been delivered. "We'd be happy to pass on a message for you, Sir." Who was going to say no to such a polite request?

Eyes turned towards the Hufflepuff when Evan noticed him looking around, and while he didn't know Daniel was wondering about the curiosity level of all the others - Evan had a feeling it showed on his face that yes - he was just as curious.
