Job Description: The Department Head of Environmental Regulation and Protection is tasked with the day to day running of level 4 and must be familiar with all aspects of the divisions which the position oversees. Extensive knowledge of magical habitats, environmental safety and botany are necessary, and leadership skills are a must. The Department Head will liaise with the Minister for Magic but is required to make decisions which affect Wizarding Britain independently, and take responsibility for all particulars which fall under the jurisdiction of the Department of Environmental Regulation and Protection. At least seven NEWTs, qualifications at a university level, and at least seven years experience in the industry are required for this position.

History: Born in Glasgow, Scotland as the only child of Chrissie and Jim Marshall, Isabel attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where she was sorted into Gryffindor. She had a strong work ethic even as a young student, which helped her to excel in Herbology and Charms, among other subjects. After graduating from Hogwarts, Izzy continued her education at university. It was during her postgraduate program that she met Tabatha Krauss, an assistant at Janus Galloglass, Diagon Alley. Although she seldom needed anything from the store, she found herself wandering in frequently to see Tabby. They had some nice conversations that led to numerous dates … and their eventual marriage. The couple adopted a boy named Aimeric and a crup named Jack, thus completing their family. Meanwhile, Izzy began to work at the Ministry of Magic. She held various job titles in the Department of Environmental Regulation and Protection over the years. Eventually, she resigned to accept a lecturing job at the university. Here she taught for over a decade, until she was asked to return to the Ministry, this time as the Head of her beloved department.
