She stopped suddenly in the middle of the corridor, and swung her bag around to look inside. Did she have her transfiguration textbook? Valentina was heading back to her dorm after classes, thinking about taking a nap before practicing some of her dance routines. She felt too exhausted - having gotten not much sleep the night before. She'd been looking down as she walked, humming softly and ended up bumping into someone - obviously hadn't been paying any attention to her surroundings. Oops.
"Oh sorry - Mamie! Hi." She smiled at the other girl. "Are you searching for something?"
