SPOILER!!: Teddy PERFECT James

It was the Saturday afternoon following their first week of classes, and he had not only had he signed himself up to work in the cabana, but he'd also signed up one Faye Asztalos, too. He was being intentionally transparent in that it would be himself and the Hufflepuff seventh year renting out the space this afternoon - it would, ideally, either invoke Peralta's trust in them by not hiding it, or else simply attract the professor to come check in on them. Teddy was a good kid and he knew Peralta knew that, sure, but he'd have been more surprised to not find her peeking in on her seventh years this afternoon, so he made sure to account for that in his preparations, too.
But there was nothing to worry about. Not really. Teddy had arrived alone at the cabana room a few minutes before their sign-up time, a rucksack on his back, and he breeeathed in deeply, taking in the pseudo-scenery the wall had chosen today. It was a shame; wherever this was, he wished he could actually be there now to swim, explore, and hike, and it almost seemed cruel to be so close and yet so far from that sort of adventure - but he was still grateful. He and Faye could see the natural beauty surrounding Hogwarts and swim, explore, and hike the grounds any day they'd like, and this was something special. Different. Serene, quiet, and all theirs, minus the inevitable fly-on-the-wall named Peralta.
He began unpacking his rucksack. There was a picnic blanket he'd typically used out in the grounds, but today he had used it to easily contain the various snacks and sweets he'd smuggled in his trunk the week prior, most of it from Sugarplum's. There was a box of macarons and a host of sweets in quantities of three: cauldron cakes, pumpkin pasties, chocolate frogs, licorice wands, sticks of Drooble's gum, and bottles of pumpkin juice. It wasn't all that glamorous, but Teddy knew it was the thought that counted, and his mere planning and the quality time spent with Faye would probably mean more to her than any fancy feast.
The third of each treat was, of course, a peace offering for Peralta. They were technically maybe not solely using the cabana to just practice their spellwork, but Teddy was going to make sure they did some, just in case the professor showed up. They could feign innocence and invite her to picnic with them. It could be like a cute little charms club meeting, if there had been such a thing, and as long as they were contributing to their ever-growing charms skillsets, Teddy felt that use of this room was as justifiable as it was likely to be memorable.
He arranged the sweets with care on the table in front of him before pulling out his textbooks - Charms of Defence and Deterrence by Catullus Spangle and The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 7 by Miranda Goshawk - and stacking one atop the other to rest beside their goods. Just in time, too, as he'd requested Faye's presence for a ~surprise~ right about... now.
Well here she was, her final term at Hogwarts had already begun and it was all too shocking to even comprehend that it was happening for Faye. But it was not at any point something that was scary to her, everyone that attends school comes to that final year of learning before they graduate onwards to continue to learn and grow as they mature. Why would that make her any different, it was bound to happen to everyone inevitably. Though she did have to admit these thoughts actually made her a little sad at the fact of not seeing those she cared for here as often as she had been used to these passed seven years, some more particular than others.
Speaking of that particular
other, she was actually rather surprised when her familiarly favourite Ravenclaw, Teddy James, had told her that he'd signed the two of them up to work in the Charms Cabana today without much of any explanation. This of course would leave the redhead to wonder why he'd request the both of them meet there, it was a little confusing seeing as to how Charms was not that challenging of a class for the seventh year, unless perhaps Teddy was the one who was in need of a little practice? Or had he seen something she hadn't noticed with her technique in class and was going to offer to perfect her skill? Questions to which she did have answers to until she would get there she supposed. At least there was one thing she knew for sure, how much she loved how bright and airy the Cabana was with all of those windows. Professor Peralta truly had a keen eye for inspiration with that space.
Packing her charm books, parchment, and quill away in her bag, the redhead made her way in the direction of the Charms Cabana from the Common Room when she was ready to meet up for their session together. Even though it was sounding like a study date, any chance she could have to spend time with Teddy James was always going to be something Faye was a fan of, in any capacity. The two were really close and really enjoyed each other's company, so it was not anything out of the ordinary for them to be meeting up like this, especially for a study date. Even though she did just see him pretty recently, was really excited to see that perfect smile of his.
Finally arriving at the Charms Cabana on the third floor, she turned the corner into the space and stopped immediately when she'd seen the beautiful splendor before her. As it turned out Teddy had achieved his goal of surprising her by the clear look of surprise on her face as she looked around. Her eyes did not know what to admire first, but it was all so....perfect. From the scenery he had chosen; which she wanted to know where that was located so she could travel to it and really enjoy it's serenity, to the picnic blanket of sweets and treats he brought, back to him and his perfect self for doing all of this for her. It was definitely almost as surprising as her seventeenth birthday just this passed summer.
Could a girl ever feel this lucky?
Faye looked over at Teddy with a smile of disbelief as she made her way towards the Ravenclaw.
"Wow...If there's anything you're good at Teddy James...It's definitely knowing how to leave a girl speechless.." Placing her bag down once she was closer to him, she wrapped her arms around him for a close hug to greet him.
"This looks amazing truly.." Her smile of adoration never leaving her expression before she slowly reached up giving him a gentle kiss.
"Hi.."
