And if it were the latter...that would be very unfortunate.
But also somewhat helpful, to have someone who could see them during feeding time?
"They're..." A little unnerving, yes. A lot unnerving. Feeding something that was...very clearly there, and...very clearly completely unobservable. What could she say that was reassuring? "They're not all that bad."
Oops. Even when she had been trying not to startle anyone, she somehow managed to do so. Perhaps she shoulder have cleared her throat or something to announce her presence but she hadn't wanted to frighten the professor either and cause an accident. Lia smiled softly, giving a small incline of her head at the question.
"Yes, please."
Pushing herself away from the stall where she had been leaning and slowly made her way into the enclosure, closing the gate behind her. Since she had learned that she was able to see them last term while in here with Quinn, she had very slowly continued to visit with them. It had taken a great deal of time and patience on both their part and hers, as they all got to know one another. It was definitely no easy task.
Lia took a bit of the raw meat and held her hand out palm up with the meat laying on her hand close to one of the thestrals. Hearing what Paszek had to say about them had her nodding her head slowly.
"Professor.. can you.. do you not see them?" She really couldn't be too sure but it sounded that way and if the women couldn't.. well.. she was happy for her.
