Arithmancy Lesson One: Arrows of Pythagoras When you enter the Arithmancy classroom that afternoon, you'll be pleased with the Halloween decor that Professor Robinson placed around the classroom. Although the decor has nothing to do with today's lesson (or does it? ), it's nice to see the spirit of halloween to hopefully make the subject enjoyable. If nothing else then because of the aesthetics.
Across the board, in familiar neat handwriting, you'll see a series of warm-up math equations on the board. Professor Robinson's customary way of getting you into the zone of working with numbers. Quote: Please take your seats and work on the following problems:
2+5x3 =
14x30=
(20+4)x2= As you're accustomed to, Professor Robinson is looking for effort, not necessarily accuracy. The Professor, as usually is standing in front of the teacher's desk, feeling much calmer than previous lessons albeit occasional taps of his fingers on the edge of the desk, waiting to greet each of you. ooc: HIIII!!!! So while this might be the first OOC lesson, just a reminder that this is NOT the first IC lesson. Also, Professor Robinson is terrible with names, but hopefully he'll get better, so your characters should be familiar with him and he's trying to learn all your students names!
