sisters xoxo be curious, not judgmental Following closely behind Fi, Teddy let his twin get settled beside their younger sister before very dramatically - but carefully, as to not actually squish anyone upon impact - splaying out across their laps, his upper body across Kiz's legs and his lower half across Fi. "But it's also where a lot of good things have happened. People have probably had all kinds of adventures even just here in this courtyard, stuff we'd never even imagine - silly things like first kisses, or someone finally performing a spell they'd been trying to get just right forever, or epic Gobstones matches -- I heard some older girl's pygmy puff give birth out here our first year," he mused to Fi.
"I mean, think about it: life, death, love, heartbreak, joy, despair - there's good with the bad, probably in every single nook and cranny of this place." He reached for a cookie. "Just like in the real world."
Teddy had given this a lot of thought, and more than anything, he was grateful that they'd had so much firsthand experience in tackling real, scary issues in a semi-controlled environment with professors to look out for them. It wasn't ever foolproof, and the number of students that had once died on these very grounds was nauseating to comprehend, but... there was good. Always good. So much good.
