Kinsay needed to clear her head. It was only one day into the new term and everything was already So Much. More than anything, she wanted to talk to Matty and ask him about ... Things. But. But everytime she tried to find him, he seemed to disappear. Maybe he already had too much homework? She'd try to catch up with him some time in the morning maybe. But for now, she needed some fresh air before heading to bed.
Stepping out onto the balcony, she sighed quietly and rested her chin along the railing. She did miss the view, but. But things were always so much easier over the summer. No drama. No homework. All the free time in the world. The only redeeming thing about the school year was seeing those friends she didn't have time to catch up with during the summer... But even that seemed to change from year to year. And. And next year even more of her friends would be gone. And her older siblings would be gone too. And and and.
At least she'd always have the moon. It was especially pretty tonight.
