Not that he personally would ever attempt to orchestrate such a thing. Evan Nam was not a party planner. Evan Nam might not even be a party attender. Hearing the request for an A he looked through the tiles he had pulled, and though he didn't think it was something he had to give up he did gently flick it across the table and her direction. "There you go."
He sorted the rest of his tiles, kicking himself for reliquishing the vowel when now he was stuck with u's and y's. Fine to have if paired with something else easier to use. "Should we add an extra challenge and only play magic related words?" Not that that helped him, but he was hoping it would hinder her as well.
He paused his organization and eyed her at the shrug, not sure really what that meant. But she also did expand on it just to say it was fine. While that could mean it was less than, it also could mean it was just fine and nothing more of import to say on it. Which was why he didn't immediately push more on it, though follow up questions would certainly be utilized. "Do you get along with your dorm mates?" And then Ravenclaw? Nothing had changed much there either, so he resumed shuffling his tiles as he responded. "It's fine. Also the same and the first years haven't been too loud." There was not another new Lisa so far, at least. Maya raised a brow when he flicked the A towards her. She hadn't expected him to give it to her. An amused smile crossed her face as she pushed it back towards him. "Evan, don't be silly, it means you start the game." Was she a dork for knowing the official rules of the game? Perhaps but it was important to know the rules. Once you knew them, you knew exactly how far you were able to push it until you broke them.
She pursed her lips and rearranged her letters yet again, putting the vowels on one end and consonants on the other. "Only magic related words?" Maya hesitated for a moment, keeping a poker face as she looked at her letters again. She didn't have any great letters to use for magic related words but she wasn't going to let Evan know that. And she was never one to back down from a challenge from her siblings either. "Deal."
Did she... get along with her dorm mates? She didn't exactly interact with a majority of them. Truthfully, Maya didn't really interact with anyone, really. But she had a feeling that Evan wasn't going to just drop it. "Claudine and I get along..." she said, hoping that would be enough to appease him. Though they really just sat in silence majority of the time, doing their own thing. "Are you caught up on your assignments? I was thinking of tutoring students in between classes..."
