After refusing to run alone for the first week or so of classes, Margaret had finally decided it would be okay to run alone after classes, or to attempt it at least. After depositing her bag in the dorm and changing into running-friendly clothes, she jogged out to the lake, intending to run along its banks.
But it was still somewhat warm out, so as she jogged along she had an idea. Pausing under the beech tree, she sat down to untie her shoes. She was not about to go swimming, no way, but wading a little bit...that might be okay. Just get her feet wet, literally. |
